A fire made the front building uninhabitable and it was replaced by a new building. The result is an apartment building with 5 residential units and an open-plan office on the ground floor. Care was taken to leave enough space for the existing house and to create a new, harmonious ensemble from the new and old house. An additional intermediate building connects and opens up the two houses and serves as a visual separation between the two buildings so that their independence is still expressed.
